Schola Cantorum is the student chamberchoir of Uppsala Cathedral. It is a mixed choir that was founded 1972 and consists of about 35 young singers between 18 and 25, mainly students from different faculties of Uppsala University. The present conductor is Milke Falck who is assistanst organist at the cathedral. He is also conductor of Uppsala Cathedral Choir and recieved his education at Stockholm Royal College of Music. The repertoire is focused on the classical church music. The choir often co-operate with the organist Andrew Canning and sings music from the anglican choir tradition accompanied by the Ruffatti organ of the cathedral. Recent major projects have been a tour to Paris and a baroque concert in Uppsala. In autumn 2011 Schola will sing Requiem by W.A. Mozart toghether with Uppsala Cathedral choir during Uppsala International Sacred Music Festival 2011.
